Kraft North America operates in the US and Canada and manages its operations by product category, while Kraft International manages its operations by geographic region. Our Kraft International business unit is organized into four geographic regions: European Union, Asia Pacific Region, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa Region and Latin America
Kraft markets a broad portfolio of iconic brands in 155 countries, including seven brands with revenue of more than $1 billion, such as Kraft cheeses, dinners and dressings; Oscar Mayer meats; Philadelphia cream cheese; Post cereals; Nabisco cookies and crackers; Jacobs coffees, Milka chocolates and LU biscuits.
Last year, Kraft has acquired Danone`s global biscuits business, becoming now the world’s leading biscuit company, with a strong portfolio of iconic brands.
Kraft became a fully independent company on March 30, 2007, and is listed in the Standard & Poor’s 100 and 500 indexes. The company is a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the Ethibel Sustainability Index.
Kraft Foods Romania is well known for Romanian consumers since 1994, when Kraft Foods International acquired Poiana Produse Zaharoase SA.
Our brands are among the leaders on Romanian market. Our outstanding portfolio of products fall into the core category of confectionery, coffee, biscuits and cheese. Our power brands include: Poiana, Milka, Africana, Smash, Carte Noire, Jacobs, Nova Brasilia, LU and Philadelphia.
Poiana is the number 1 chocolate brand in Romania, while Milka is not only Europe’s most successful brand of chocolate; it is also one of the best-known brand names in the world. Jacobs is a mega brand that traces its beginnings to 1895 in Germany and has set the quality standards for coffee in Europe ever since, is the best selling coffee brand in Romania and Philadelphia is the number 1 cheese cream brand in the world.
